Camden Council is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our high performing team as a Transformation Project Manager.

Reporting directly to the Director Customer & Corporate Strategy, this critical role will lead the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives, building momentum and accelerating progress on high impact change programs.

The successful applicant will have a strong track record in leading transformation, combining exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, to drive outcomes that make a real difference.

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management of transformational programs
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, change management, or related field
  • Experience in facilitating, managing & delivering complex transformation projects and outcomes to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate multiple activities and projects and the flexibility to work with changing circumstances
  • Experience taking initiative, acting with confidence and working under own direction
  • High level communication & engagement skills with a strong focus on change management

Desirable:

  • Sound local government knowledge and/or experience
  • Understanding and application of current continuous improvement methodology, tools and techniques
