**Licensing Officer - **Liquor & Gaming NSW**
- An exciting and challenging opportunity to work with Liquor & Gaming NSW within the Licensing Team
- Clerk Grade 5/6 with starting salary range of $93,295 - $102,94pa plus superannuation and annual leave loading
- Full time ongoing role based in Sydney, NSW - Hybrid working arrangements may be available within business operational needs

**About Liquor & Gaming NSW**

We are at the pointy end of industry supervision for the liquor, gaming, wagering, casino and registered club sectors in NSW. If you want a seat at the table, whether we’re reviewing the latest facial recognition technology; advising Government on gambling reform policy; developing initiatives to increase live music venues and festivals; or investigating unlawful liquor or gambling inducement practices, we want to talk to you.

**About the Role**

The Licensing Officer is in a team responsible for delivering risk and evidence-based licensing activities that meet community expectations to enable a vibrant entertainment industry while minimising health and social harms.

**To be successful you will**:

- Bring substantial experience in high-volume regulatory and licensing environments, demonstrating a commitment to accuracy and impartiality.
- Possess finely honed verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to produce, review, and contribute to high-quality reports and correspondence that support effective licensing operations.
- Be detail-oriented and efficient, ensuring the timely and precise maintenance of records and systems that streamline workflows and support comprehensive reporting on licensing activities.
- Approach your work with ownership and decisiveness, consistently operating within legislative frameworks to ensure compliance and integrity.
- Be innovative thinker, you actively seek out and contribute to process improvement initiatives, helping enhance service delivery and build stakeholder confidence.
