**Job description - Finance Assistant**
This role supports the Project & Development Services team in Sydney. Join the team who assist clients with the identification, design, and delivery of capital works to meet new operational requirements; when changes are required for the refurbishment or refit of existing premises. Progression is real Our client is an advocate for promoting within, there will be opportunities based on your performance to continue in the wider organisation.

**Job responsibilities - Finance Assistant**
- This Finance Assistant role will include but not be limited to the following tasks:_
- Provide financial administrative support for the financial management of the business.
- Reconciliation of financial transactions for completed projects
- Assist with monthly reports
- Opening and updating Work Orders in the finance system.
- Creating and updating Purchase Orders
- Liaise with delivery teams, finance manager and corporate finance team
- Accounts and data maintenance

**Job requirements - Finance Assistant**
- Educated to degree level, ideally in Finance, Commerce or Banking.
- An interest or experience in Project Management is a bonus.
- Experience is Finance administration is a plus
- Well-versed with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Great communicator, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisational skillset and ability to prioritise workload
- A team player
- Meticulous attention to detail
