**About the role - Part-time 0.8FTE, Must Work Mondays and Fridays**

The Client Engagement Officer will be the first point of contact for people with disability and will be responsible for responding to all NDIS inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Working with clients and families, you will establish a client’s needs and preferences and work with Baptist Care SA staff to establish service capacity and provide a service pathway that suits each individual client. You will also play an important role in supporting clients to transition into receiving supports provided by our service delivery teams.
- Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:_
- Ensure a client-centred, customer service focussed approach to service delivery, actively engaging with clients and families to meet client needs and ensure a positive experience throughout the intake and assessment process.
- Manage own caseload of new/existing NDIS funded clients seeking services from Baptist Care SA through engagement with clients, families, service delivery teams and other stakeholders.
- Support our service delivery team and corporate service units, to meet the needs of clients.
- Establish and maintain good relationships and partnerships with clients, advocates guardians, other agencies and service providers and community stakeholders to facilitate effective client intake and plan renewals.
- Ensure efficient use of resources to meet quality standards; assist in achieving compliance against government requirements.

**About You**:
Being an Experienced Client Engagement Officer, you will provide advice and support to people with disability to help them access a range of disability services provided by Baptist Care SA and achieve their goals.
- You will also bring the following skills and experience:_
- Relevant qualifications or demonstrated relevant experience working within a NDIS environment.
- Previous experience in a client service role.
- Experience working with people with disability or community services.
- Experience using client management systems and databases to maintain records and prepare reports.

**Specific Requirements**:

- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver’s Licence
- DHS Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
- First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Safe Environments for Children and Young People (or willing to obtain)
- Travel within South Australia and interstate required
- A fully insured and roadworthy compliant vehicle (roadworthy check required)
