Job Purpose
The Billing Operations Salesforce Specialist is responsible for leading the operational billing for business units utilising Salesforce. Since its introduction Salesforce is becoming an increasingly important component in the company's revenue systems and is used by key areas of future company growth
- including New Developments and Enterprise Ethernet. Management of this critical process and achievement of SLAs includes the leading and management of billing across both Telco / Non-Telco areas.
The Billing Operations Salesforce lead will play a vital part in the achievement revenue objectives for all revenue products coming into Billing from Salesforce. Imperative to this role is leading and developing a sound strategy for Salesforce billing with a view to enable streamlining of processes, realise efficiencies, and achieve scalability initiatives required for the companys future success. The role will also support Billing Customer Support team as a Salesforce SME in there use of Salesforce.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and lead the end-to-end Salesforce billing processes, engaging with stakeholders across the company to enable customers to be billed both accurately and timely, through to critical end of month GL and reconciliations completion.
- Utilise project management methodologies including Lean Six SigmaEnterprise Agility to lead the evolvement of Salesforce billing processes to achieve scalability imperatives and preserving Business Process Maturity.
- Subject matter expert for any Salesforce initiatives impacting Billing and Credit Services. Ongoing BCS staff development and upskilling for all Salesforce related billing matters.
- Manage the outsourced operational Salesforce billing tasks, working with SEO DSO our partner on both the quality and completion of tasks to SLAs.
- Partner with CPM, BCS Demand & Deliveryilling Change and& IT to drive strategic delivery of effective solutions into Operations.. This includes influencing requirements, approving solutions into Operations, and leading the operational stability of new capability into Production.
- Manage and lead the resolution of operational Salesforce incidents and issues to mitigate customer impact. Partner with AS&M & IT Operations to achieve the best outcomes for customers.
Must have:
- Tertiary qualifications preferably in an accounting and/or IT discipline
- 7+ years’ experience in working in a telecommunications and financial systems operational environment. This will include ability to lead, resolve and innovate effective solutions that solve Salesforce billing-related technology problems, incidents, solutions & processes to support a high-scale telecommunications business.
- Knowledge of billing and Audit cash process
- Detail orientated, problem solving skill set
- Strong Stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to deal with issues and incidents.
- Technical capability - Alteryx, SQL, Oracle or BRM preferred.
- Data & analytics experience with reporting ideal
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- 5 + years experience with Salesforce including Salesforce Certified Administrator credential.
