We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven and passionate person to join the Dexus team for a 12 month Fixed Term as an Assistant Centre Manager at Botany Town Centre & Manukau Supa Centa
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to drive the asset performance through supporting the Centre Management team in establishing standards and driving excellence.
How will you make an impact
This varied role will see you assist the Centre Manager with leadership, strategic, financial, reporting and administrative duties including, but not limited to:
- Lead, coach and mentor other team members
- Work closely with other internal stakeholders to develop a sustainable and strategic business plan
- Monitor & report on Centre’s performance, market trends and financial performance
- Maximise the net operating income for the centre, working closely with Finance teams to budget/forecast
- Monthly and Quarterly finance reviews
- Supervise administrative procedures and ensure accuracy and integrity of records
- Ensure tenant compliance with legal documentation
- Work safely, professionally, positively and cooperatively
About You:
Along with your leadership skills, you will have the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast paced environment with a customer focus. You will thrive on problem solving and delivering results.
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant discipline, with a focus on Property Management, Marketing, Communications or similar qualification
- Shopping Centre Management experience is highly desirable,
- Knowledge of New Zealand Retail Leases
- Demonstrated experience in formulating and executing shopping centre business plans and budgets
- Demonstrated facilities management and or project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
