**About the Company**: Rushmore Distributors is a leader in its field, distributing leading brands and quality products to a diverse array of customers, including electrical and plumbing wholesale, retail hardware & industrial markets, trading under the brand names of Repelec, Gilbert Lodge Australia and Ventilation Solutions Australia, among others.

We are searching for an Assistant Product Manager to support the Business Manager of our Hardware, Mechanical and Electrical Accessories business unit.

You will learn all aspects of the product management discipline to take a step upward when ready.

This is a full-time position based in our Glendenning Sydney office, reporting directly to the Business Manager.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Support the Business Manager across all product management functions, including product sourcing, selection, and lifecycle management, testing to relevant standards, and management of excess/aged inventory
- Take the lead on pricing reviews and price file preparation
- Analysis & reporting on data, including marketing campaigns, price positioning, and forecasting.

**Experience & Skills Required**:

- A previous role in product and/or pricing administration is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in the electrical or hardware industry would be preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to function independently and on cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be residing in Australia with unrestricted working rights
