Are you passionate about creating delicious, high-quality meals while leading a dedicated team? Anglicare is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef to ensure our residents enjoy nutritious and timely meals prepared in accordance with our values and high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Supervise, train, and support your team to meet production and distribution deadlines efficiently.- Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to Anglicare’s standards and all relevant health regulations, including HACCP and WHS policies.- Quality Assurance: Ensure food quality by monitoring ingredients, preparation, cooking, and storage procedures. Suggest improvements to enhance food quality and work practices.- Team Collaboration: Foster a cooperative work environment, lead by example, and provide regular feedback to your team.- Workplace Safety: Promote a strong safety culture by keeping workspaces clean and safe, reporting hazards, and participating in safety activities.- Cultural Awareness: Respect and value diverse cultural backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.- Values-Driven Leadership: Uphold Anglicare’s Christian values and create an environment where staff can thrive professionally and personally.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.- At least 4 years of experience in the food industry, including supervisory roles.- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
