Exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Officer to join the team in Newcastle

**Marketing Officer**

**Rate: $40 - 45/Hour + Super**

**Contract: 6-Months (Potential for extension)**

**Days: Mon - Fri**

**Location: Newcastle CBD**

**Your new company**

Hays are currently working with a government organisation offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Officer to work alongside a dedicated and established team. This organisation is focused on making a difference within the community and are focused on achieving their vision of creating a liveable and sustainable global city.

**Your new role**

As a Marketing Officer, your role will include:

- Assisting in the development and implementation of policies, strategies and plans
- Assist management to develop and deliver marketing campaigns
- Continuous updating of online content/platforms, social media accounts, communication messages, and all other printed/digital informational
- Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders, external contractors and industry networks
- Contribute to the achievement of KPI's of the team
- Monthly reporting and analysis

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Relevant qualification in marketing and/or demonstrated capability within the industry
- Ability in the day-to-day use and optimization of websites/social media platforms (as well as other marketing channels)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar industry
