**The Company**
Our client is a growing building materials supplier in Australia and has no plans to slow down anytime soon. They have ambitious plans to become the market leader in coming years and require an internal sales representative to help with this mission. They are a team of highly experienced professionals with a passion for providing dedicated services to individuals, government agencies, international organisations, and private companies.
They have impressive operations, supply chains, clients and major partnerships across Australia. It's an exciting time to be joining our client as their products continue to gain further market share on a national scale. They are innovative, fluid and passionate with their approach to the market.
**The Role**
We are seeking a sales professional with a minimum of one years sales experience and passion for helping others and the construction materials sector. Ideally, you will have previous timber, steel, glass or similar construction materials sales / sales support experience and open to continued learning.

As an internal sales specialist you will contribute to the company’s success in the following ways:
- Attend to the front desk and assist customers with orders and pricing inquiries.
- Prepare quotations and solutions for customers and clients
- Follow-up and convert quotes to orders
- Seek new customers and new business opportunities
- Using consultative approaches to influence decision makers
- Obtain referrals to develop new customers
- Cross sell complimentary products
- Report weekly on pipeline and activities
- Represent popular brands within the market
- Be the face of our clients company and brand
- Generating solutions and quotes for clients
- Assisting with creating and closing sales
- Managing current accounts to ensure company and client satisfaction
- Handling day-to-day customer care together with your back up team
**Skills & Experience**
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Preferably sales, internal sales or sales support experience in the construction space.
- Stable track record of employment and desire to move into a long term career role.
- Strong customer service skills and experience.
- High degree of energy, self motivation and desire to be rewarded with your hard efforts.
- Seeking a career within construction materials industry.
**Compensation**
- Competitive Salary Base Salary + Super + Incentives.
- Paid Vacation
In return, our client can offer you a stable, friendly team environment to work in. The salary package is negotiable based on experience. This role is available immediately and interviews will commence ASAP.
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
