**Your new role awaits**:
As a Coates Purchasing Officer at our Moorebank Branch you will be supporting the Capex Buying team acquire over $200 million in equipment each year, adding to Australia’s largest and most sophisticated fleet. This position drives the entire purchasing process, from raising a purchase order through to the safe and timely delivery of our product at locations all over the country.

You’ll also be assisting with improving supplier price solutions and be responsible for managing the pre-delivery process and requirements to make sure machines are safe and “rent ready”.
- Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with suppliers to ensure correct pricing and security of supply
- Using Coates’ Purchasing System and be guided by internal purchasing procedures and policies
- Ensuring accurate records and documentation are maintained to ensure timely delivery requirements are met for all new equipment
- Optimise pre-delivery processes and supplier arrangement for all incoming Capex goods.
- Raise and seek approval for Capex goods Purchase Orders.
- Provide reporting on Capex delivery times (ETAs), pre-delivery and meet monthly reporting timetables and quality expectations
- Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture - champion safety with your colleagues and customers.

**About you**:
Your high levels of customer service, time-management and can-do attitude, are complemented by:

- Great written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Ability to work in a supportive, established team but also happy to work autonomously
- High attention to detail
- Highly competent in the use of with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Outstanding administration skills
