**About the role**
The OEM product Manager is responsible for all aspects of technical support for our new range of OEM products including - Sandwich Panel walls, Aluminium frames. A key function will be utilizing solidworks and Cad designs. In addition to these responsibilities will be managing a portfolio of structural related products associated with the OEM channel through Camec. This includes gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with sales & marketing to support to revenue and ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.

The role is also responsible for ensuring that the products support the company’s overall strategy, values, and goals.

**The main responsibilities of the role are**:

- Analyse the current product portfolio to provide insight to the wider organisation about the performance of each product category (sales turnover, profitability & market penetration).
- Propose changes to the portfolio to improve the overall performance of each category (e.g., price points, depth of range, product replacements)
- Collaborate with the sales organisation to identify market opportunities, trends, and gaps in the current portfolio.
- Actively benchmark the managed product portfolio with competitors to ensure each product category has the desired market position.
- Develop a plan of products to be added to the portfolio to achieve set goals for each product category managed.
- Prepare business cases to highlight cost vs benefits of proposed product developments.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to source products that fit into the product portfolio from existing and new suppliers.
- Actively work with suppliers on product design, quality, price, and delivery to ensure each product category has the right market position.
- Prepare product launch kits in collaboration with purchasing and sales & marketing
- Provide technical training & support for the sales organisation where required.
- Assist sales & marketing to create sales literature to promote the products in the portfolio where required.
- Set up new SKUs and maintain existing SKUs in the system.
- Set & Maintain channel pricing in the system
- Experience in Cad design
- 3 years in a product development role or a similar role
- Commercial Awareness
- Proven ability to manage a product from concept to market launch
- Experience with Solidworks preferred
- Caravan Industry experience/Interests preferred
- Previous experience in the OE sector preferred
