Tyrecycle Production Supervisor

**Your New Opportunity**:
We currently have an opening for a **Production Supervisor** to join our Tyrecycle team in Somerton, VIC. _The position currently available is for Day Shift._

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will have key responsibility in the following:

- Implement daily production plans
- Manage labour requirements as per the production plan
- Troubleshoot process faults - rectify faults where possible and/or request maintenance support
- Provide daily leadership, support, development, and coaching for a small team of operators
- Uphold Safety, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures applicable to the position
- Identify areas of improvement in the manufacturing process to improve efficiencies and/or cost
- Display an understanding of the impact production has across the business, such as stock management and logistics
- Achieve KPIs and deadlines while setting and monitoring these for your team
- Conduct Toolboxes and regular communication sessions, ensuring transparent exchange of information

**About you**:

- Experience in a similar role within the manufacturing or recycling industries
- Forklift license
- Strong supervisory abilities gained in the leadership of other teams
- Able to drive accountabilities and promote a team-oriented culture
- Ability to solve problems efficiently and in a timely fashion utilising critical thinking
- Good MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills

Desirable Skills & Experience:

- Six Sigma and Lean Process Management accreditation is highly regarded
