Downer's Road Services business is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. We operate from a network of over 40 depots and 26 production sites to maintain more than 30,000 km of road. Downer continues to be an innovator in the sustainable asphalt industry, running plants that use recyclable products and environmentally sustainable methods.

**The Role**

We currently have an opportunity for someone experienced with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and parts management to join our Roads Services business to support national asphalt plants to drive cost savings and reduce downtime events.

Ideally this role will be based out of Somerton, Melbourne, however Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide can also be considered. Some national travel may be required.
- Responsible for the smooth-running of the CMMS and maintenance of CMMS data integrity.
- Provide support to CMMS users (training, support, reporting assistance etc) as required.
- Work with operational businesses to identify key parts issues/risks and manage through the parts procurement process.
- Manage/oversee national parts stocks where required, minimise parts availability risk.
- Develop and leverage supplier contacts to deliver value to Downer.
- Support the Fixed Assets Manager in development and execution of the Fixed Assets Strategy.

**About You**
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts used in heavy industries (manufacturing, mining, quarry, oil and gas, building products etc).
- Knowledge of maintenance practices/tasks (i.e. mechanical trade) highly regarded.
