Family owned and operated, Australian Meat Emporium is located in Alexandria, Sydney. We are Sydney's largest meat cool room offering an enormous range of quality meats to a range of customers. We work with a large number of suppliers along with our own supply chain to ensure quality is always our highest priority.

**About the role**:
Plan, organise ,direct, control and coordinate the supply, storage and distribution of manufactured goods produced by our business.

We are looking for a supply & distribution manager of manufactured goods to join our well established and high performing team. As the Supply & Distribution manager of manufactured goods you will play an essential role in managing stock, using systems and software to optimise planning to ensure efficiency and minimise wastage in the business. The role requires someone with immaculate attention to detail, good organisational skills and a problem solver. We work with a number of suppliers to source our quality products which requires a great deal of coordination and control. We also own a farm which you will work closely with to coordinate the weekly transportation of our cattle to the abattoir.

**Day to day**:
**Main tasks**
- Determine, implement and monitor strategies, policies and plans for purchasing, storing and distributing manufactured goods with a particular focus on best practice process efficiency
- Monitor inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
- Track movements of supplies and goods
- Liaises with other departments and customers regarding outward goods and transportation
- Oversee the recording of purchase, storage and distribution transactions relating to manufactured goods
- Compliance with company safety standards & culture
- Coordinating the numerous daily receival and dispatch of stock with warehousing team
- Keeping inventory records accurate and up-to-date using software systems for raw material and finished goods into our manufactured goods
- Preparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels
- Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels
- Production planning based on prior and forecast sales
- Managing the receival process of goods into our cold and dry storage, on and off site
- Tracking the movement and rotation of all stock across the different departments
- Ensuring efficient and accurate stock distribution
- Stock taking and management via software and internal systems

**Skills / experience required**
- Total quality management (TQM)
- 6 Sigma
- Lean manufacturing
- Bachelors Degree
- Proven experience working and leading a highly motivated team

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
