hone.pd is a Consultancy specialising in the Design, Manufacture, and distribution of products including Consumer/retail goods, as well as custom engineered bespoke equipment. We develop new products for our Clients, working from initial concept development, through Engineering, Manufacturing setup, and delivery of completed manufactured goods. We also import & distribute footwear and apparel. Our Clients include Startups and well established businesses alike. We are a small team who value a flexible, team player approach to getting the job done. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and talented Supply chain specialist to join our team.

You will work with us helping to further develop and improve our Supply chain management processes and systems while also executing day to day Supply Chain management activities. This work will occur across both the Client Product development side of the business, as well as the Retail product distribution side of the business. You will work with our Engineers to ensure products meet our requirements, taking responsibility for all aspects of the Supply chain in this process.

You will be required to time manage & prioritise well to deliver multiple projects simultaneously. The role is part time, working from our Alexandria office.
- Identify and qualify suppliers appropriate to our needs and those of our clients.
- Liaise with clients while progressing their projects to manufacture and ensuring delivery goods according to project timelines.
- Manage supplier relationships including negotiating favorable pricing & terms, implementing agreements, and ensuring timeline adherence.
- Manage Quality Control activities including 3rd party Dupro, Pre shipment inspections and compliance certification ensuring all products land meeting quality standards.
- Arrange Freight of goods cost effectively, including managing the importation process.
- Manage inbound orders from our clients, creating and consolidating outbound purchase orders to our Supply Chain, including managing accurate invoicing and payments.
- Work with our Engineers and Clients to manage product coding and documentation owning our Product database management.
- Ensure accurate expense & invoice tracking and documentation for Supply chain related aspects, working in collaboration with accounts.
- Work with team members in establishing and improving supply chain related processes within the business.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to supply chain operations.
- Analyse our relevant markets, to identify opportunities for further development of our client’s product businesses.
- Required:_
- Excellent English & Chinese communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with Suppliers.
- Strong commercial and analytical acumen, ability to interpret data and have an outcome focused approach.
- Strong and proven problem solving skills.
- Capacity to travel overseas for work if required is ideal.
- Ability to work independently, prioritising with mínimal supervision, while also contributing effectively to a team environment.
- Must have current work rights for Australia.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, inventory management and production planning
- Minimum 5 years Supply chain experience with background in consumer goods (Essential)
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing vendor relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred)
