Hays in Geelong are currently partnered with a large public sector organisation located in Geelong CBD, Victoria.
We are seeking to appoint **Business Readiness & Release Manager on 6 months contract with potential extension**

**Your new role**
Reporting to Program Manager, you will be responsible to provide governance, readiness and release control with the progression and implementation of CRM releases through controlled environments. You will be also be responsible for it is responsible for supporting the success of projects across programs, by leading readiness activities and ensuring the business are prepared, as well as creating materials to support the user experience once the change is implemented.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Providing support with project planning and scheduling of environment needs.
- Sufficient technical understanding and oversight to drive issue resolution, manage dependencies and negotiate successful outcomes for environment requirement conflicts.
- Develop key relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate to close out any accepted defects, delivered risks or work around, by working closely with the product owners & Business
- Responsible for ensuring business readiness; making sure areas of the business are ready to accept technology releases.
- Preliminary implementation - Identify stakeholders for business readiness, ensuring transition plans are reviewed and approved by business Foresee and manage risks & issues with project managers / other stakeholders to ensure that the transition is seamless
- Development of Hypercare support model processes and ensure that all criteria are clearly agreed and met.
- Ensure sustainable plans are agreed upon, impacts on Business units from new system / processes, and business continuity plans (BCP) plans.
- Partner with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and a coordinated approach with implementation.
- Influence key stakeholder groups across all levels to develop effective relationships that facilitate successful implementation outcomes
- Facilitate engagement through a variety of channels to drive readiness activities; and identify areas of change resistance to maximise adoption of new ways of working into business as usual.
- Accountable for creating and capturing accurate and complete records of the business activities related to this position, in accordance with approved policy and procedures.
- Other duties as and when required

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Extensive experience working in large and complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience working with addressing testing, release management, environments, or readiness issues.
- Demonstrated experience understanding the releases, delivery of project in entirely.
- Demonstrated experience working on PPM, Jira and Confluence.
- Agile (e.g., Scrum, Lean, XP) project management frameworks Accreditations would be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and Stakeholder management skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal and Organisational skills with strong customer focus
