**Your new company**
Hays Technology in Geelong are currently partnered with local Government organization to recruit **Business Readiness and Release Manager on 3 months contract with a view of extension**. This will be a hybrid role working from home and Geelong office location.

**Your new role**
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the readiness activities and ensure implementation of CRM releases are managed through controlled environment. You will be providing governance, supporting the project deliverables and involved in creating materials to support the user experience once change is implemented.

**Key accountabilities**:

- Assist the team in project planning and scheduling of environment needs.
- Work through to business readiness, transition plans, issue resolution, manage dependencies and negotiate successful outcomes for environment requirement conflicts.
- Maintain relationship with internal and external key stakeholders.
- Work closely with Product Owner and Business to close out any accepted defects, delivered risks and technology releases.
- Manage risks & issues with project managers / other stakeholders to ensure that the transition is seamless
- Ensuring Development of Hypercare support model processes and ensure that all criteria’s are clearly agreed and met
- Ensure sustainable plans are agreed upon, impacts on Business units from new system / processes, and business continuity plans (BCP) plans.
- Facilitate engagement through a variety of channels to drive readiness activities; and identify areas of change resistance to maximise adoption of new ways of working into business as usual.
- Create records of the business activities in line with policy and procedures.
- Any other reasonable and related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of company.

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Relevant experience of working within projects, including working within large and complex organisations.
- Proven exposure in delivery of project, testing, release management, environments or readiness issues
- Demonstrating a human centred design approach to all aspects of work, including a willingness to share knowledge and expertise to assist in embedding this approach across the organisation.
- Demonstrated experience in PPM tools, JIRA, Confluence.
- Knowledge and experience with best practice delivery of services to injured workers, workers, licensors and employers, would be of benefit, but not essential.
- Certification in Agile (e.g. Scrum, Lean, XP) project management frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
