About Queensland Bulk Terminals
Queensland Bulk Terminals (QBT) is one of Australia's state-of-the art and most efficient export terminals. QBT is a bulk storage and handling facility with the capacity to sample, test, receive, store, pack and ship a range of grains and liquids. These include, but are not limited to wheat, sorghum, maize, pulses, tallow, edible oils and propylene glycol (industrial).
The QBT facility has over 85,000 metric tons of bulk grain storage, over 10,000 metric tons of bulk liquid storage, two all-weather grain receiving stations, a container packing facility and a ship loader.
Since commencing operations in May 2011, QBT has shipped to over 20 countries and regions servicing Asia, the Pacific, South Africa and the Subcontinent.

The Opportunity
We are currently looking to hire several Terminal Operators for our site located at Murarrie. Reporting to the Leading Hand the Terminal Operator is responsible for the coordination and management of the day to day terminal operations, overseeing staff, and operations administration.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Participating in daily terminal activities including pre and post starts
- Adhering to safety, quality and environmental measures
- Operating heavy machinery and equipment including front end loader, skid steer and forklift
- Adhering to KPIs and schedules

**To be successful**:

- At least 2-3 years experience in a similar industry/environment
- Front End Loader (FEL), Skid steer, Forklift (FL) tickets
- First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights, Confined Space
- Effective communication skillsAble to work independently with mínimal supervision and contribute to team environment
