Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd operates with a name plate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum exporting coal from Central Queensland to ports around the world. This wouldn't be possible without great people - people just like you.
We are seeking to fill 2 fixed term full time (12 months) System Maintainer Mechanical roles to work within the Asset Management Business Unit. These roles are responsible for undertaking corrective and preventative maintenance to plant and equipment as necessary.

Your will be required to: -

  • Plan, schedule and complete maintenance tasks through adherence to the annual maintenance plan.
  • Contribute to plant reliability through application of continuous improvement practices, problem solving and maintenance of appropriate work procedures.
  • Provide reliable and accurate data and feedback to key stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of safety processes and procedures as they relate to a heavy industry/materials processing environment.
  • Qualification in Engineering (Fitter & Turner Fixed Plant Mechanical) is mandatory for the System Maintainer Mechanical role.

Your commitment to safe maintenance practices and operating principles, superior planning and organisational skills; and your ability to manage and co-ordinate contractors will be key in contributing to your success in this role. This position also requires you to provide guidance and feedback to apprentices.
