Australia’s leading industrial deconstruction company is currently seeking a 12-18 month full-time Accounts Payable Officer in our Glebe Head Office to cover staff on maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone motivated with a strong desire to develop their experience and build their knowledge, while joining a friendly and diverse team.

You will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Ensure all invoices are processed accurately.
- Liaise with site teams for purchase orders and make sure all invoices are approved
- Communicate with suppliers when contacted
- Check invoices against statements
- Manage and plan the payment of invoices by due dates
- Make sure invoices are coded to the correct account and job/project

Desired Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience as an accounts payable officer;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organisation both verbally and written;
- Previous experience in Microsoft Office including good knowledge of excel;
- Motivation to learn processes quickly; and
- Experience using Sage 300 accounting system (not required, but preferred).

Knowledge of the mining/building/construction industry and processes is desired but not essential.

The successful applicant will need to complete a full medical, including a drug and alcohol test and a police check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Glebe, NSW 2037: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
