About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an emerging Australian company as a Finance Manager based in our Glebe, NSW office. Reporting to the CEO and Group GM, you will play a key role in driving the company's financial strategy and operations. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company's financial performance and reporting.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the company's financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management
  • Manage the company's general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
  • Lead the finance team and provide guidance on best practices and process improvements
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
  • Support the Group GM in identifying and implementing growth opportunities

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience in a senior finance role, preferably within the Hospitality, Retail or FMCG industry
  • Proven track record of financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles, financial management, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Highly proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
