The Role
This is a diverse hands-on role supporting the marketing, communications, fundraising and philanthropy teams to achieve their objectives. In this role you will assist across events, supporter communication, social media, digital marketing, donor care and database administration.
You will be responsible for;
- Event coordination of community and donor events
- Providing high quality written and verbal communication to donors
- Working with the fundraising coordinator to manage the day-to-day administration of the fundraising program and CRM system

Skills Required
You have transferrable skills or experience from generalist marketing, communications or event coordination roles, ideally in a not-for-profit organisation. You are committed to helping others, highly organised and solutions oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additionally, your experience may include:
- Coordination of events and events calendars
- Copywriting, creating content and drafting of proposals
- Face to face, telephone and online engagement of customers or donors
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM (Raiser’s Edge), social networking and marketing automation platforms
The Organisation
Sir David Martin Foundation is a 30-year-old family foundation, helping young people in crisis. The Foundation is the major funder of Mission Australia’s Triple Care Farm, a unique, holistic treatment centre which each year gives over 200 vulnerable young Australians, aged 16-24, a safe place to get well and prepare for new opportunities.
Raising over $70M since 1990 through fundraising and philanthropy, the Foundation enables best practice models of treatment for youth drug and alcohol addiction.
