**Jobs, tasks and responsibilities**

The successful applicant will provide hands-on implementation support to a variety of SEC Newgate clients, helping to bring their social media strategies to life.

You will have the opportunity to build your experience helping clients in government, not-for-profit and corporate sectors to grow their profile, accelerate stakeholder engagement or advocate on important issues.

You will be a core member of the **SEC Newgate Digital team**, and will closely collaborate with teams across the organisation to deliver great client outcomes, including our creative, media and government relations teams

**Daily tasks include**:

- Creating and maintaining content calendars
- Working collaboratively to identify content opportunities, including in response to current news and events
- Working collaboratively to produce engaging social content, including copy development and working with our in-house creative team to prepare visual and multimedia assets
- Scheduling and publishing social content
- Daily monitoring of social platforms and staying on top of community management
- Setting up and publishing paid digital media campaigns
- Compiling social media reports on content performance and audience engagement
- Keeping on top of social media news and trends

**Ideally you are**:

- Interested in current affairs and the health and wellbeing sector
- Skilled and passionate about the professional use of social platforms, particularly LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Highly organised with an eye for detail
- Familiar with paid social media buying, or willing to learn
- Collaborative and adaptable with a can-do attitude and great interpersonal skills
- Resilient and calm under pressure - comfortable working to deadlines and across multiple client accounts concurrently

**Your practical skills and experience should include**:

- 12 months+ professional experience in a social media facing role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Communications or Public Relations
- Strong writing capabilities - the confidence and ability to write clearly and succinctly
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and listening skills
- Positive approach with a good sense of humour
- Demonstrated experience in previous communications, consulting or client-facing roles is a plus
