Talent International is searching for experienced Program Delivery Manager to join our client, a large state government department for a 12-month contract based on the northside of Brisbane.

**About the Role**:
The Information Management (IM) Program requires the services of a Program Delivery Manager to ensure that all projects within the IM Program are successfully delivered. Projects within the program currently include:

- SharePoint to Cloud
- Document Management System - Replacement
- Correspondence Management Solution

The Program Delivery Manager will collaborate across the organisation, working closely with the IM Program Director, IMP Project Managers and Executive Sponsors, and other senior leaders to ensure delivery outcomes are met and benefits are realised.

The role will also work closely with the IM Program Change and Adoption team and the Program Management and Integration Office to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to project delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support delivery of the IM program of work and maintain awareness of strategic priorities and political implications.
- Oversee the delivery of projects within the program, ensuring time, cost and quality outcomes meet both ICT and business objectives and expectations.
- Provide leadership to the projects including strategic direction, issue escalation and risk mitigation, ensuring delivery momentum is maintained.
- Ensure effective monitoring, controlling, and reporting of project related trends and performance against plans, deliverables, and schedules.
- Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
- Manage dependencies of varying complexity, within and external to the program, potentially planning and feeding into other projects or programs of work.
- Ensure project readiness for external assurance assessments, governance submissions and gate progression.
- Ensure the use of appropriate project management techniques, methods, and tools are applied, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Experience operating within large and complex ICT programs of work with a strong business transformation component.
- High level of skill in the leadership and management of effective teams within the delivery of large multi-disciplinary projects.
- Proven experience in project and delivery management, with the ability to oversee delivery of several projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated vendor management experience in a multiple vendor environment.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
- Strong problem-solving facilitation skills
- Knowledge of and experience with software development lifecycles, water fall and agile delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing Information Management projects in a large, complex, government organisation highly desirable.
