This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading
Our client, a complex government department has a rare opportunity for a Cloud Platforms Manager. You will lead innovation, collaboration, and service delivery, ensuring seamless cloud access for clients. You'll provide technical leadership, engage with business areas, and manage external partnerships.
An initial 6 month contract will be offered with a strong extension of a further 6 months. The role is based in Brisbane CBD and offers WFH flexibility
**Key Responsibilities**:
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary cloud team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
Oversee cloud development across the department, ensuring alignment with corporate IT standards.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, managing internal capacity and external service contracts.
Provide technical leadership in **Microsoft cloud and data technologies** (D365, Power Platform, Azure, Fabric, Databricks, Synapse, SQL).
Develop strategies for demand management, cost optimization, and service delivery.
**About You**:
✔ Strong leadership and technical expertise in cloud platforms and DevOps.
✔ Experience managing IT services in a geographically dispersed environment.
✔ Proven ability to set operational standards and drive continuous improvement.
✔ Skilled in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and strategic planning.
