DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Warehouse Operator, Logistics in Melbourne.

The Warehouse Operator plays an integral part in the logistic supply chain, ensuring customers goods are picked and packed as required and that all associated paperwork is completed as per procedures. This role will be a full time role in the afternoon shift between 12 pm to 8 pm.

**Your typical day at DSV**:

- Interpret information contained on picking slip to locate stock and pick to fulfill customer orders.
- Unloading/loading of vehicles and movement of goods in and out of the warehouse.
- Maintain 100% accuracy when picking stock, and performing stock takes and cycle counts.
- Assist with the loading/unloading of trucks on occasions as directed by the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor.
- Correct data entry for inbound receipts and outbound consignments.
- Follow operational procedures at all times.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and conduct daily safety checks.
- Report any spillages, damaged or suspicious goods.
- Report all incidents/accidents/near misses without delay.

**About you**:

- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Process daily administrative functions for clients by completing data entry, analysing reports and problem solving, to ensure the day to day operations run smoothly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid forklift license and previous experience in operating forklifts (particularly high reach and counterbalance).
