Position Title: 3PL Operations / Warehouse Store worker

Reports to:Melbourne Warehouse Manager

Role Summary:

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the efficient and compliant handling of 3PL and bonded freight. This includes accurate receiving, storage, movement, and dispatch of goods in accordance with ABF and Biosecurity regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3PL Operations:

  • Accurately receive and allocate 3PL stock.

  • Maintain up-to-date location mapping and stock counts.
  • Process outbound orders and transfers within the warehouse.
  • Perform regular stock takes assigned by warehouse manager.
  • Palletizing orders where required.
  • Unpacking of containers. (palletized and hand unload)

  • Bonded Freight Handling:

  • Identify, label, and segregate bonded vs. cleared cargo.

  • Ensure no unauthorized access to or release of bonded goods.
  • Support weekly bond checks and maintain audit-ready documentation.
  • Re-palletizing and wrapping freight where required.
  • Unpacking of containers. (palletized and hand unload)

  • Compliance & Documentation:

  • Adhere to ABF and Biosecurity requirements, including direction handling and seizure paperwork.

  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and filing in both physical and digital formats.

  • General Warehouse Duties:

  • Operate forklifts and handling equipment safely.

  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and order within the warehouse.
  • Report damage, discrepancies, or compliance breaches immediately.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Knowledge of 3PL logistics and 77G bonded freight.
  • Forklift license (LF) and good physical fitness.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg.
