As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a **dedicated, professional, and career-focused Receptionist** to join our team. This role is a central part of our practice, ensuring that clients feel supported and welcomed from the moment they connect with us.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a **Full-Time Receptionist**to provide front-line support to our clients and clinicians, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

**Duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Delivering exemplary customer service as the first point of contact for Safe House Psychology.
- Scheduling and managing client appointments, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Processing client payments, managing accounts, and handling Medicare rebates.
- Maintaining accurate records using our Client Management System.
- Liaising with GPs, insurers, and other external providers.
- Supporting clinicians and the Director with administrative tasks.
- Assisting with marketing, social media, and community engagement activities.
- Conducting intake assessments at the time of booking.
- Managing confidential records and upholding client confidentiality at all times.

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- High-level IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A professional, approachable, and empathetic manner when supporting clients.
- Strong attention to detail in customer service, spelling, typing, and data entry.
- Ability to multitask, manage competing deadlines, and remain calm under pressure.
- A confident and professional phone manner.
- Proficiency in handling payments and managing client accounts.
- Previous experience in healthcare or reception is highly desirable.
