**How Will I Help?**
This role exists to ensure activities indicative of Fraud and AML/CTF are appropriately identified and investigated to ensure action can be taken to mitigate fraud/financial crime risks and protect Westpac Group customers.
Key to the success of this role is being a Subject Matter Expert on Fraud and AML/CTF typologies, understanding the Groups risk appetite as defined in Group policy and procedures, being a critical thinker with an investigative mindset, and a demonstrated ability to make insightful recommendations to the business to ensure the correct customer and business outcome can actioned.

**What do I need?**
- Extensive experience in conducting investigations arising from AML alerts.
- Experience in conducting interviews, collating all relevant evidence, and writing formal reports needed to investigate complex matters in a manner that meets the relevant legislation and policy compliance requirements
- Experience and knowledge across Anti Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Finance typologies, legislation, and processes
- Experience in providing effective investigation outcome feedback to support process and cultural improvements within the Westpac Group
- Ability to utilise business metrics to manage operations and drive efficiency
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management for internal stakeholders
- Ability to adapt to changes within the team
