Reconciliation Officer

**About the role**:
Europcar Australia is seeking a a passionate and driven Reconciliations Officer to join our Reconciliations team based in Tullamarine, Victoria. The Reconciliation Officer role is responsible for all Chargeback facilities, bank liaison, accuracy and timely response to the card services for all credit card disputes. This role is responsible for all weekly, monthly and yearly reporting on credit card disputes, chargebacks (not including Claims disputes).

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to**:

- Handling of all disputes / chargebacks on credit card queries and calls.
- Management of communications out to stations requesting specific documentation and information pertaining to disputes / chargebacks
- Liaison with Amex, Diners, NAB etc for all disputes / chargebacks
- Collection of any mischarged credit card transactions pertaining to a dispute / chargeback
- Ensuring a timely response to the issuer to ensure no dispute or chargeback is lost.
- Monitoring all outstanding disputes and chargebacks, issue reporting weekly and monthly. Monthly report to be used by accountant for journal purposes.
- Managing processes for debt collection for all debt taken to Dunn & Bradstreet.
- Actively participating in Reconciliation team meetings, on department projects and ad hoc requirements
- Assisting in the timely completion of Reconciliation projects as directed by the Reconciliation Manager, including UAT testing.

**To be considered for this position you should possess**:

- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
- Superior communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous Banking experience would be highly regarded

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
