This role supports the Australian and NZ GI business with underwriting platforms. Initially supporting Guidewire Pricing Product (GPP) which is managed centrally by Zurich Group in Europe. The GPP is used by a variety of lines of business in GI and there is an ongoing program of work to enable more AU/NZ products on GPP. There is also a strategy to improve the end to end automation of underwriting by integrating GPP with existing and new tools within the underwriting journey. Additional underwriting platforms are also in scope for development.
- Day to day tasks include the following:
- _Monitor and manage Australia and NZ’s usage of GPP, providing first line of support for issue resolution_
- _Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for GPP improvement and efficiency enhancement._
- _Work closely with Product Owners, Actuaries and business leaders, both locally and from Group to ensure successful implementation of GPP and other underwriting platforms improvement projects._
- _Assist with the implementation of GPP changes and updates suitable to the Australia and NZ region and support with the rollout_
- _Update training manuals for new and revised software and integrations_

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, IT or a related field.
- Proven experience in process improvement or system support, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in problem resolution and process enhancement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
