We are looking for an Financial Lines Product & Underwriting specialist to work for our team. The role will be focused on Financial Lines but if you do have knowledge of other general lines insurance that will be of benefit. You will manage our Financial Lines offerings and provide foundation product support to the company, internal and external stakeholders and drive the development and improvement of the offering. Your team ensures all areas of the company are provided with the product information and support to operate effectively and compliantly. You will liaise with multiple insurer partners to drive product innovation, manage guideline maintenance and insurer relationships. The ability to use and draw insights from large data sets will benefit you as you will be responsible for tracking and recommending actions to drive product performance.
- A key part of your role will be providing product support for ongoing projects, such as realigning our Financial Lines offerings on our new platform.
- Tracking and reporting on product performance to internal and external stakeholders and recommending actions to drive performance.
- You will be a key person in Financial Lines product builds including scoping and testing.
- Support Insurers with Audit Action Items
- Manage Financial Lines Underwriting Guidelines across multiple insurers: Maintain, improve & ensure platform is compliant.
- Support internal stakeholders such as IT, claims, QA and Learning & Development with product questions, testing, training materials and provide general support across the company for ad hoc product questions.

We have a small team providing business critical product support to all departments across the company. We are a tight team who interact a lot day to day, we enjoy some banter (a dry sense of humour will fit in well) and we work hard and pride ourselves on getting the job done to the highest standard.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years specialising in Financial Lines insurance (broking or underwriting).
- Expert knowledge of the core Financial Lines product, its sections and the different insurer offerings that exist in market
- Excellent proficency in excel
- Experience in drawing insights from data and generating reports will be an advantage.
- Time management and prioritisation skills. You will be handling requests from multple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Good communications skills as you will be interacting with insurers and multiple stakeholders within the company.
- Attention to detail
- A desire to learn, innovate and challenge the status quo
- Being proactive with suggestions, working autonomously and also comfortable with taking direction.
- Ability to problem solve
- Positive attitude and calm under pressure
- Experience working with technology projects would be highly valued
