360 Underwriting Solutions is excited to be offering a Farm Underwriter role, based in our Sydney or Melbourne office.

About the Role

As part of our Farm and Regional Team, your primary purpose will be to deliver high-quality underwriting support across the farm portfolio, with a strong focus on renewal management, queue support, and underwriting excellence. You will work closely with our broking partners, applying underwriting discipline and contributing to portfolio performance.

This role is also designed to support ongoing learning and development with opportunities to grow your technical expertise and play a key role in positioning 360 as the partner of choice for farm insurance.

360 Key Responsibilities.

  • Quote and bind renewal, endorsements and new business in line with underwriting guidelines, authority limits, and binder agreements.
  • Take primary responsibility for renewal management, ensuring accurate and timely processing with a focus on retention and profitability.
  • Manage phone queues and respond to broker enquiries promptly, delivering accurate and solutions-focused support.
  • Contribute to portfolio monitoring by identifying emerging trends and escalating insights where appropriate.
  • Ensure all processes, documentation, and underwriting decisions are accurate, timely, and compliant with company standards and regulatory obligations.
  • Actively build farm insurance product and industry knowledge through structured learning and development opportunities.

Successful Candidate Will Have…

  • Experience in insurance underwriting or broking, ideally within the agricultural or regional markets or packaged underwriting.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to deliver timely, accurate, and solutions-focused support to our broking partners.
  • A detail-oriented approach, with proven ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence in engaging brokers via phone and email.
  • Commitment to learning and professional development, with an interest in developing farm and insurance knowledge.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
