Description:
About the role:
This Supervisory role is responsible for the service delivery on site at one of our flagship sites based at Darlington. The day to day operational service delivery is a key component to the success of the customer account on this very large and busy site. It includes cultivating a healthy partnership with the customers on site, embed a strong, effective and efficient service delivery model and to ensure complete compliance to contractual obligations. Key focus of this role is supervising, motivating and leading large teams to perform their duties to a high standard. The hours of this position is 3am to 11am which is when the majority of our staff are on site executing work.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Safety - Takes a proactive role in leading the safety in the field and creating a strong safety culture within GJK whilst ensuring compliance and KPI's are met. Reporting required via our solvsafety system to identify hazards, safety incidents, team briefings.

Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with Facility Managers, Building Supervisors and tenants. You will implement and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, pro-active communication and issue identification and resolution.

Financial Management - Ensure labour rosters are adhered to in line with the operations budgets. Ensure annual leave is taken in a timely manner by your team and organise appropriate coverage. Work closely with the admin team to ensure job requests are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard with required validation

Business Growth - Identify out of scopes works and ensure quotes are raised to provide our client with proactive site management maintenance

Quality - Monitor work practices and standards to ensure quality, environmental and safe work procedures are adhered to. Conduct site inspections and audits using our lighthouse reporting system.

People Management - Lead, motivate, inspire, develop and drive a teamwork, performance-based culture. Provide mentoring, guidance and support with hands-on leadership to Direct Reports. Ensure that all staff are inducted and trained prior to commencement on site. Positively engage with all direct and indirect reports to ensure people related policies, procedures and process are applied consistently and fairly & that a culture of teamwork, honesty and integrity occurs amongst the team.

Reporting - Ensuring the use of Solvsfety, Lighthouse, Biometrics, sign in and sign out books and any other systems and procedures required on the contract

Skills and Experiences:
Minimum Requirements to see you succeed in this role:

- Proven experience in directing, managing and training staff
- Experience in the cleaning industry
- Good working knowledge, experience and comprehension of safety related issues
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and juggle conflicting prioritise
- Full Australian Driver licence - preferred
- Double vaccinated at minimum
