About this opportunity:
We are looking for a passionate, resilient, and highly flexible Customer Service Supervisor ready to lead and inspire a team in a world-class venue. ICC Sydney is looking for an experienced leader to join our upbeat, friendly, and dedicated team of event professionals.
You'll be a critical first point of contact for our diverse guests and event stakeholders, ensuring seamless operational success across over 700 events annually. The nature of the events industry means your schedule will vary so expect a 7-day rotating roster with early morning starts and late evening finishes. Required Skills & Experience:
You will bring your extensive customer service experience from a large-scale venue and combine it with your passion to deliver extraordinary events at ICC Sydney. A positive attitude, resilience, strong customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to establish good working relationships are essential to succeed in this role.
In addition to this, you will also:
- Take an active role in supervising and performance managing a large team of casual ushers.
- Lead and assist daily changes to the usher roster based on event needs.
- Flexible and available to work across a 7 day rotating roster including early morning and afternoon/evening shifts across multiple customer service desks.
- Deliver business centre services for our clients and guests.
- Learn and perform the role for Exhibitor Services to our exhibition clients and guests.
- Ensure that administrative tasks are completed daily, including daily event reports, post event reports, incident reporting and accurate briefing sheets.
- Assist in managing crowd flows to ensure the front of house delivery is conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Previous Customer Service Supervisor experience.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- You must be 18 years or over.
