**What You Will Be Doing**
The Operations Manager of Support Services provides leadership to, and is accountable for, the Support Services functions across Peninsula Health. The Operations Manager has responsibility for operational and professional management of Support Services areas including: Food Services, Environmental Services, Waste Management, Linen Services, Victoria Roads Compliance, Contracted Café Services, Security, Car Parking, Patient TV & Phone Hire, Switchboard, Patient Transport, Environmental Sustainability and Supply Warehouse. A varied role requiring strong leadership skills and engagement through understanding of business requirements and healthcare standards.
The Operations Manager will also be responsible for budgets, cleaning and food safety standards, and agreed KPI’s. The Operations Manager has responsibility to ensure services of staff and resources are managed efficiently and effectively in keeping with Peninsula Health’s Vision and Values.
Position Description
**What You Need**
We anticipate you will have:
- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Sound technical competency of Hospital Cleaning Standards, Infection Control guidelines
- Strong and effective leadership skills; the ability to support, motivate and effectively manage both a unionised, and non-unionised workforce
- Previous experience in Support Services / Multi-Service / Facilities management role (desirable)
