**Overview**:
Our client is a leading Energy Retail organisation.

This person will help produce valuable insights into the full life cycle of customer payment plans: from customers who are currently on plans to customers who have outstanding debt. These insights will be instrumental in improving the customer experience for customers on payment plans.

The role is responsible for analysis of the debt book and cash flow trends and patterns to deliver valuable insights. It is also responsible for the allocation of work to case management specialists, and the analysis of the outcome.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Maintain credit & collection operational reporting suite, work allocation, ensure that data is accurate and timely, and work with leaders to ensure that the reports meet the needs of the business.
- Analysis of the debt book and cash flow trends and patterns to deliver valuable insights
- Effectively deliver campaign performance reporting and insights
- Identify and eliminate factors impacting data accuracy
- Optimise reporting processes through identifying opportunities to automate and remove reliance on non production data sources
- Manage a transparent work in progress queue, which is aligned with credit & collection agenda
- Analysis of data to highlight and report on performance issues across credit & collection including simple adhoc queries and in depth analytics projects.
- Link data from several different sources to provide additional analytic insight

**Required experience and skills**:

- Previous experience across Credit Risk & Analysis within a medium/large scale business
- Prior experience in a reporting and analytical environment
- Advanced excel essential
- Worked with high volumes of complex data
- Demonstrated ability to link operational outcomes to commercial outcomes
- Strong report writing skills, with an ability to extract useful insights to ‘tell the story’
- Solid business acumen
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong communications skills
- particularly the ability to communicate technical information to a broad audience
- A strong team ethic and sense of both individual and team importance
- An organised self starter able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, high pressured environment
