This SA State Department has long been in a transformative journey to positively alter the outlook of SA for its people and communities. As part of the Department's ongoing expansion, a new opportunity has arisen for a Project Assurance Lead to join the PMO.

Leading Assurance and Governance within the PMO your role is vital, ensuring that the correct project principles and framework are applied to all projects from concept to completion. Management and oversight of the master and implementation schedules will be key. Ultimately providing you with the knowledge to support the department and assist in identifying any risks and working through preventative action or issue resolution.

You will be able to understand and translate the needs of the Executive Leaders in terms of use of the Project Framework and communicate them effectively to the PMO stakeholders whilst also communicating flagged issues within the framework back to the Executive team.

As well as Project Assurance you will also support the Project Managers through workshops and drop in hubs to allow for the free flow of information or Framework specific questions. Vital to your role will be the ongoing focus of Project Framework improvement not only from your own perspective but also gained from valuable conversations with the project teams.

- Proven experience in Project Management or Project Quality Assurance
- Sound understanding of best practice project management principles
- Strong communication skills
- Accomplished problem solving
