Our client is currently looking for an experienced Project Officer to join their team to work within the Project Delivery Management Office (PMO). Receiving limited direction and working with a degree of autonomy, the Project Officer contributes to the successful delivery of the portfolio of projects within our client's IT Department.

**Some duties include**:

- Managing regular project health-checks for multiple projects in the portfolio
- Producing regular and ad-hoc portfolio analysis and reports
- Project Management System maintenance (including MS SharePoint and PowerBI dashboards)
- Facilitating and managing Project Manager education, induction, and training
- Providing delivery assurance to the Leadership Team
- Assisting with Project Governance matters
- Manage small / medium projects when required

The role is to support multiple Project and Program Managers across multiple projects and a high level portfolio. This role is supporting, looking at resources, managing vendor engagements, project reporting, etc.

**Skills and Experience**:

- 5+ years' experience working within a PMO / DMO environment.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated by the ability to relate to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience working with Program and Project Managers
- Experience with Project Assurance and Quality Assurance (e.g., Project Reports)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience in financial management (from a program and portfolio perspectives)
- Knowledge and experience in project risk management
- Experience in business process improvement
- Experience in Microsoft PowerBI Development would be advantageous

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Higher qualification in Project Management, ICT, or related discipline.
