**Job Description**:
Paying claims is the most important thing we do. At TAL our Claims Teams are committed to providing an outstanding claims experience for our customers.
We are looking for a talented individual with the right skills and knowledge who wants to join in our mission of ‘being by your side for life’ to positively impact Australians.
In this role you will,
- Perform claims administrative tasks in support of the Case Managers
- Participate in the development of improved procedures for the administration of claims
- Receive initial notification of claims and implement action, check policy status, record on system and send claim forms
- Acknowledge receipt, make up claim file, attach underwriting documentation and attach applicable policy wording
- Arrange periodical benefit payments and payment of service provider accounts
- Process claim payments following instruction from the Case Manager
- Co-ordinate Surveillance, Rehabilitation and Independent Medical Examination referrals
**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role you will have,
- Previous experience in similar role within Financial Services/ Insurance Industry
- Exceptional customer service to clients and ensure agreed service standards are met
- Demonstrated ability to work both in a team and autonomously
- Excellent analytical skills and methodologies, high attention to detail
- Good relationship management and negotiation skills
- Accurate data input and sound knowledge of MS Office suite
