**Your New Role**:
The Account Managers are responsible for the overall health of a portfolio of client accounts, including budget development, implementation and maintenance; asset identification and collection and client file management.

Account Managers have direct interaction with clients, including the provision of client facing administration services, management of transactional requests and associated collaboration with SMEs / stakeholders during the decision making process. They complete ongoing file maintenance; action the onboarding and finalisation of Trustee clients; along with the day-to-day approval of ad hoc client requests.

Together with the Client Management team, the Account Management team form a dedicated client team, providing traditional Trustee services to persons throughout Australia.

**Your New Role Looks Like This**:

- Contribute to and attend (as required) client meetings as scheduled by the Client Manager
- Work collaboratively with members of the Client Management team, particularly with regard to the annual Client Review process and the completion of the annual budget/investment review
- Ensure files notes are completed for all client meetings and discussions and stored appropriately on the client file, including documentation of the internal decision making process undertaken for significant disbursements
- Responsibility for decisions made on behalf of clients, including ensuring they are in line with Delegations Framework and all relevant SMEs are consulted as part of the decision making process, as required
- Where possible consult the client and their circle of support to gain information to assist in decision making
- Work collaboratively with Client Manager to ensure the client’s financial position is considered as part of the decision making process and budget reviews occur as required
- Responsibility for ensuring appropriate structures are implemented to protect client assets, including adequate and appropriate insurance
- Responsibility for budget creation and ongoing management, taking into consideration individual circumstances, needs and objectives

**About You**:

- A relevant degree preferred, with experience within a Trustee business
- An excellent knowledge of client administration
- Strong communication skills and the ability to cultivate productive and effective relationships
- Sound understanding of financial principles, including investment approaches and asset classes
- Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Guardianship and Administration Act 2019; Administration and Probate Act 1958 and the Privacy Act.
