What your typical day will look like:
As the Billings Officer, you are responsible for the meticulous oversight of billings accuracy, essential for maintaining positive cash flow. Your primary duties include timely billing to customers, ensuring the accuracy of recorded revenue, and diligently collecting payments.

Core responsibilities include:

- Ensure accurate and timely billing to customers to facilitate smooth cash flow.
- Verify the correctness of revenue recorded by the business each month.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers to facilitate prompt payment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries.
- Implement and maintain efficient billing processes to streamline operations and minimize errors.
- Generate reports and analyse billing data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

A bit about you:

- Proven experience in billing, accounting, or finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with billing regulations and standards preferred.
