**The Role**
Multiple roles across the Technology Division of the Nuclear Powered Submarine Taskforce (NPSTF).

Role responsibilities within the Technology Division will include supporting the definition and development of technical advice for the future nuclear powered submarine capability. This includes the development of Government advice and planning proposals. Seeking specific experience in the areas of naval combat and weapon systems, systems engineering and program management technologies, training and simulation technologies, construction technologies and hydrodynamic systems and performance.

Interstate travel will be required on a semi-regular basis, and frequent access to the DSN will be needed to complete tasks and participate in meetings.

**About our Team**
The Technology Division, within the NPSTF is responsible for technology strategy and policy, including the development of engineering, science, technology and innovation capacity within Australian industry, workforce and research institutions.

The Technology Enterprise Branch is responsible for the definition and development of the technical and technology workforce of the future nuclear-powered submarine program.

The officer will be required to anticipate, identify and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations to achieve Division, NPSTF and Defence outcomes. You will need to enjoy working collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment, display initiative, have sound judgement and deliver quality work within deadlines and competing priorities.

Demonstrated experience in the development, operation, sustainment or innovation of Defence maritime systems is desirable.

The applicant will have demonstrated their flexibility to work with limited guidance within a complex environment framework to deliver high quality advice.
