Senior Finance Officer - Reconciliation (6-Month Contract)

**Your new role**

As the Senior Finance Officer with a focus on reconciliation, you will be responsible for managing and executing various reconciliation processes to ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Conducting regular reconciliation of accounts, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborating with different departments to obtain necessary data and address any discrepancies between financial records.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Contributing to process improvements, streamlining reconciliation procedures, and enhancing financial controls.
- Keeping up-to-date records and documentation of reconciliation activities for audit and reporting purposes.
- Providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management based on reconciliation findings.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, with a significant focus on reconciliation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience using Technology One software or large ERP system will be highly regarded.
