**About the Opportunity**
Our Communications team are the hub for our Transport Services division. This team are responsible for oversight and direction of all staff on the road for our Deceased Persons Transport and the hospital work we do for Patient Transport, as well as liaison with customers, management and resolving a wide range of issues and challenges on a daily basis. Our team is crucial to support staff on the road and to ensure we provide a timely, safe, financially viable and sustainable transport business.
The position is based in Mount Waverly with permanent full time and casual opportunities.
**About You**
We’d like to hear from you if you meet the following essential skills and attributes (selection criteria):
- Demonstrated experience in a communications, rostering, scheduling and/or a dispatch role - or a willingness and commitment to learn and be trained in this area.
- Effective communication skills when dealing with employees and clients.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, as well as high accuracy alphanumeric data entry.
- A proven record in managing a varied workload across a number of categories and resources.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative.
- Detailed understanding and adherence to customer requirements.
- Proven skills and compliance within industry standards as well as an ability to follow industry related protocols.
- Reliability with the flexibility to work across a rotating roster including day, night and weekend shifts.
- Willingness to undertake a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
