As a key member of the school support staff team, this position will ensure high quality IT services are achieved for secondary school students and their families.
About the Role

**Responsibilities include**:

- Maintain a thorough knowledge of ICT practices and legislation to ensure that ICT management within the support core business activities, align with strategic agenda's and contribute student's success.
- Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to promote school/college compliance with the Department's Enterprise Architecture and Information Policies, Procedures and Standards.
- Lead an enthusiastic team of technology support staff, providing technical leadership, guidance and management in the allocation and prioritisation of work, as well as creating and maintaining a positive, outcomes-focused culture.
- Provide leadership and advice to customers in the planning, implementation and use of information systems, technologies and telecommunications infrastructure, including the development of ICT planning, and ensuring stakeholders understand available IT services in supporting business change.
- Lead and manage a school/college ICT team, including training, coordination of work flow processes, performance assessment and review, a high level of service provision, ICT asset management and procurement, and issue resolution in line with agreement performance standards.
- Provide high level strategic advice, analysis and support to the school/college senior management team in relation to ICT and information security.
- Identify and develop strategies for providing training and development in the use of ICT systems and services within a school environment.
- Provide advice in relation to ICT projects, strategic direction and solutions through, but not limited to, regular reporting to key stakeholders on ICT initiatives, programs and service delivery performance and measures.
- Provide expert technical advice and support on the selection, procurement and installation of new hardware and software, and as well as the enhancement of existing systems.
