As a result of our continued growth and $1 billion work-in-hand, Georgiou is seeking a Bid Writer to join our Perth office on a permanent basis. You will be trusted to draft written submissions for expressions of interest, award submissions, non-price components of tender submissions and work methodologies.

Georgiou’s approach ensures that you are included in initial client/bid discussions to understand the client and project drivers, allowing you to prepare a strategically focussed and high-quality submission that clearly articulates Georgiou’s value proposition. More than being desk-bound, you will have the opportunity to travel to our projects to meet with our operational stakeholders and gain an appreciation of the challenges being overcome, and to understand Georgiou’s culture and achievements, allowing you to better communicate and advance our success through powerful messaging and stories.

Aside from having experience in a similar technical/business writing position (ideally within a civil, engineering and construction environment), you are a driven and influential team player with high standards of business writing and time management skills.

To thrive in our team environment, you should be a confident communicator both verbally and in writing who can track and deliver multiple submissions concurrently as well as build trusted and cooperative relationships along the way across our projects in WA.

**What you’ll do (but not limited to)**:

- Production of professionally written bid content that clearly articulates Georgiou’s value proposition for Request for Tenders, Proposals, Expression of Interests, Industry Awards and Pre-qualifications in accordance with winning proposal requirements
- Review client documentation, submission response requirements and draft clear and concise responses accordingly
- Lead storyboarding sessions with the bid team members and key stakeholders
- Develop key messages/win themes for each submission
- Review and edit content with a focus on continuous improvement
- Contribute to strategy workshops to enhance content and messaging
- Liaise with Proposals Coordinator regarding submission editing, formatting, visual presentation, collation and printing
- Manage multiple written submissions concurrently
- Prior successful record in relation to Main Roads, WA and PTA projects in the Transport sector
- Defence related experience highly desirable

Previous experience or exposure in core construction & engineering principles, including road and bridge infrastructure projects; and
Relevant qualifications or formal training in business/proposal/tender writing.
