**The Role**
Aerospace Combat Systems (ACS) Branch within CASG, deals with several major projects that are acquiring new Air Combat capabilities (including the JSF). You will be able to work autonomously to achieve organisational goals and will have a demonstrated ability to prioritise work efforts while balancing operational tasks.
The successful applicant will coordinate the Unit Security Officer (USO) program and oversee activities related to the DEF6014 security governance program, including management of system, personnel and process documentation, along with conducting security audits, security training and information reviews.
**About our Team**
ACS Branch in CASG is the lead delivery agency in Defence's Air Combat Capability Program. This program manages all aspects of equipment acquisition and integration and provides necessary through life support of assigned air combat weapon systems. ACS Branch impacts both existing operational capabilities (Products) and future capabilities (Projects).
The MQ-28 Ghost Bat Project Office team is a brand new team within ACS Branch assessing the initial ADF capability.
The APS5 USO position is a key success enabler for the wider DEF6014 team.
The MQ-28 Project Office has locations in RAAF Base Amberley and Brisbane CBD.
- Possess knowledge, skills and experience to effectively manager security processes in highly secured environments;
- Have an excellent understanding of security assurance and how it can be applied in the DEF6014 program context.
- Work autonomously to achieve organisational goals;
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, while being able to build relationships with team members and key stakeholders across multiple areas of the DEF6014 program.
- Be an Australian citizen who already holds a Negative Vetting Security Clearance (NV1);
- Be available to work exclusively in the Brisbane, QLD area - though some interstate travel may be intermittently required.
- Completed, or be willing to complete, the Defence Security Officer training course.
- Be able to Work From Home (WFH), as required.
