**Medical Receptionist - Icon Cancer Centre Richmond**

We have two new opportunities for Receptionists to join us within our Radiation Oncology units Epworth Richmond & Epworth Freemasons (East Melbourne)
- Join our existing administration team and support our specialists, nursing staff and patients coming in for regular treatments
- Permanent, **Full-time** Role (Monday - Friday)
- **$30+ hr, 10.5% Super, 4 Weeks Annual Leave**

**The opportunity**

**Medical Receptionist** on a
**permanent full-time basis** (38hrs) based at our two Icon centres within
**Richmond **and
**Freemason Epworth Hospitals.**

- Welcoming patients, collecting and entering personal details
- Scheduling appointments
- Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
- Entering and processing patient billing
- Monitoring and assessing the administration care path of all patients
- Maintaining and managing patient information
- Possessing basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Possessing basic knowledge of Medicare and DVA claims
- Supporting Icon's WHS Officers and committees to effectively carry out their responsibilities

**About you**
- Experience in a similar role within the Healthcare industry
- Experience with Medicare, DVA and Private Health Insurance
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Word and Excel
- Delivery of excellent client service (to internal and/or external clients)
- Possessing basic knowledge of medical terminology
